Mihalis Dafermos

Mihalis Dafermos received his BA in 1997 from Harvard and his Ph.D. in 2001 from Princeton. His research centers largely on the mathematical study of black holes and singularities in classical general relativity. He is Professor of Mathematics at Princeton University and serves as Director of the Princeton Gravity Initiative.  He also holds the Lowndean Chair of Astronomy and Geometry at the University of Cambridge.
